Serving Minnesota since 1960, we specialize in helping individuals and their families who face complex barriers to success – poverty, homelessness, unemployment, chemical addiction or mental health concerns. Avivo helps more than 11,000 people each year achieve recovery, employment, and economic advancement.

Our Name

Avivo was chosen to replace the previous name, RESOURCE, in 2017 after a thoughtful and thorough renaming process. Avivo is a name that helps tell our participants’ stories and truly represents the transformational work around our mission, and the vision we have for our communities.
